Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Natural support for eye health

About Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids naturally occurring in eggs and green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale.

These both yellow orange nutrients are deposited in the macular portion of the retina, where they protect the eye by filtering harmful blue light. Growing body of scientific evidence shows that they may help protect from age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

As a powerful antioxidant, lutein may also play a role in brain and skin health*.

Lutein can also be used as a food colorant**.

Divi’s Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Divi’s lutein and zeaxanthin are naturally sourced from marigold flowers (Tagetes Erecta), USP source of lutein.

All our lutein and zeaxanthin forms are Kosher/Halal certified, gluten-free, non-GMO and do not contain ingredients of known allergenic potential. They are suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
